Why choose Adrienne
Fully customized sessions
No two bodies are the same and not every day is the same either. Each session is thoroughly discussed so you get the bodywork you need on any given day. Whether you’ve had a rough week and need a nervous system re-set with a deeply relaxing massage or you’ve had a nagging pain that won’t go away and need a more focused session with special attention to trigger points and surrounding muscles - or a combination of the two - I listen to your goals for our time together each and every visit so we can agree on the session that’s right for you.
My top priority is making sure you leave feeling at ease.
You decide if we talk
If you want to completely zone out and not be disturbed with chatter… great! I’m happy to allow all the quiet you need to escape within.
If you want to talk and get some things off your chest or simply chat… great! I love talking to my clients.
This is your time and I follow your lead.
You choose the music
I’ve listened to everything from Motown to relaxing spa music to Brandi Carlile to heavy metal during my client sessions. As long as it’s relaxing to you, I’m game. Just let me know if you have any requests and I’m happy to oblige. Again, this is your time.
Communication is encouraged
Massage is such a personal experience and every single person has different preferences. While I try to get a good grasp of yours during our initial intake, I can’t always know how you’re feeling or if something is uncomfortable. I know it can be awkward to speak up during the session if you really want more of this or less of that, but I truly and genuinely want to know. Your comfort is my top priority and I’m always open to hearing how I can enhance your experience.
Safe Space
I provide a body-positive, LGBTQ+ friendly space where you can relax and unwind knowing you’re in a supportive environment.
The journey towards wholeness is yours to make.
“Embodiment isn’t about quieting the thoughts in the head and noticing the sensations of the body from there — it’s about bringing the abstract intelligence of the head into relationship with the body’s intelligence… It isn’t about sitting in the head and paying attention to the part of you we call the body — it’s about fully inhabiting the intelligence of the body and attuning to the world through it. It’s about listening to the world through the body.” — Philip Shepherd from Radical Wholeness
